Born and raised in Wisconsin, I have always had a passion for sports (especially football) and ever since I was a kid, I've always wanted to work in the sports media/broadcast industry! When I was younger, I used to make my own sports newspapers pretending to be a reporter covering local teams. As I got older, I knew what career path I wanted to take and what I wanted to do.

After graduating high school in May 2016, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point- where I studied Communciations with an emphasis in Media Studies. I was involved with both my campus television and radio stations, appearing as a guest analyst on each station's sports shows, broadcasting UWSP football, basketball, and hockey games, and anchoring shows.

 

Additionally, I served as a Sports Reporter and Sports Producer my junior and senior year, reporting on teams in UWSP Athletics and producing live game broadcasts and shows for campus TV. I also spent one summer working in Wausau, WI as a Video Production Intern for the Wisconsin Woodchucks of the Northwoods League. These experiences were great learning tools and set me up for the media industry when I graduated in May 2020!

In September 2020, I started working as a photojournalist for WBAY-TV in Green Bay, WI. I shot video for the news department, but got to do some cool assignments with sports- such as shooting highlights of a Milwaukee Bucks playoff game during the 2022 NBA playoffs! However, it was working at Lambeau Field during Green Bay Packers home games that gave me some unique opportunities to be behind-the-scenes of the sports media industry.

Outside of my regular career, I also have done some social media content for an amateur baseball team, and I enjoy doing some freelance photography and video work of my own. I also like to do some writing- whether its game recaps, in-depth articles, or feature scripts, I enjoy being able to work on different kinds of projects.

Now, I'm looking for the next step in my career! Whether that is in a production or broadcast setting, the skills I've picked up working in television and my other experience in media have helped me out!  I'm looking forward to what's ahead and where the journey will take me!
